Lodge was built in 1992 by the 3 Partners of Bear Lodge: Dan Legere,
Fran Loranger and Patrick Kelley. We all wanted a place to call our
own on weekends to enjoy those epic ski days when it is difficult to
get to Sunday River Ski
Resort from our homes spread all over the Northeast! Being 5 to 10 minutes away help
us enjoy our passion of making tracks on fresh snow!
It was named "Bear Lodge" because the Bear River flows behind
our land. This river often delivers new sand in
spring which becomes our own personal secluded beach out back in the
summer!
